The life of Carlos M. Castaņeda was a gift to all who knew him. We, his family and friends, wish to honor him and his life-long
contribution to journalism by establishing a scholarship fund in his name in order to continue his work. Please join us in
extending the gift he has given us to others.
Your support is needed to help fund the graduate education for young Spanish- speaking students or journalists who possess
imagination, curiosity, honesty and passion for journalism, and that are intent on dedicating their life to practicing journalism
in the Spanish language.
Together, we can make a lasting difference. Together, we can prepare Spanish-speaking journalism students to become emerging
leaders in this field, ensuring the quality of journalism in the Americas for generations to come.
We have set a fundraising goal of $100,000 to fund the initial endowment for the Carlos M. Castaņeda Educational Foundation.
